Hi I’m Milkshake and this is Joe. He’s my dad and he does a lot of math. He’s a fed by day and a personal trainer also by day. He just stares at excel and leaves me for the gym, but every morning and most afternoons he takes me to Swampoodle dog park to play with my best friends. We have loved going to this park together since we moved to NoMa two years ago. The community we’ve built means a lot to us and we can’t wait to carry it to even better places! I’m Daphne, the new addition and I’m afraid of nothing and will climb into your lap and steal treats from your pocket. I’m wacko but “just a baby.” I’m Tillie, Joe is warm so I sit in his lap every morning (my mom is Olivia).

Hi, I’m Tillie, and that’s my mom Olivia. We’ve been living in DC for 9 years. While she goes off and works as an accountant I stay at home and faithfully guard the house from the sun spot on the couch, deceptively fooling would be robbers with my snoring. We had a great life, some dogs may even say the perfect life, but then, 2 years ago my mom decided to bring home….

ME, Betsy! My sister and mom needed some excitement during the pandemic and I delivered. I love eating books at searching for tennis balls! They love (Tillie: ‘tolerate!’) me so much that we are at the dog park every morning without fail! My sister even gets dragged along! I can’t wait to see all my park friends at the park and at FOND events!

Hi, I’m Lena. I don’t know how old I am but I’ve lived in DC for 4 years. That’s my dad, Chris. He works for a membership association so he can pay for my kibble and fish treats. He takes me to Swampoodle dog park almost every morning, even when it's raining. The dog park is great. I get pets, see all my friends, and protect everyone from delivery trucks.

When I first moved to DC, I would go to a different dog park. It was really fun, but it was a lot smaller and somehow either really muddy or dusty. I have to take way fewer baths now. Swampoodle is the best.

Hi! I’m Barnacle (aka Barn), and this is my mom, Rachel. She started as my foster mom because I was pretty scared in the shelter after they found me roaming the streets of DC. She thought she’d only have me for a few days, but joke’s on her because that was 2023 and I never left!

My parents leave me at home every day to go to work at the hospital (they say it is important but I don’t know what a hospital is). I don’t mind though because I sleep on the couch alllll day to rest up for our evening trip to the park!! That’s my favorite part of every day! I love seeing my friends, wrestling, zooming, and begging for treats. Can’t wait to meet you there!

Woof woof! I’m Brownie and this is my mom, Kristen. I love going to the park every morning and sometimes if I whine enough I get a bonus afternoon visit. I love all my park friends, both doggos and humans. You can find me zooming around, playing chase, and looking for anyone with a free hand for extra pets.

I'm Angus and this is my mom Kris'tina and my older sister Snooky. I was adopted from the Humane Rescue Alliance in October of 2024 and I've been in NoMa ever since. I love going to the dog park as often as I can and am always down to wrestle. They think I'm two, maybe soon to be three, so I need space to run and play.

Snooky, my older sister, is a Japanese Spitz and she's so old, she was around when they invented fetch. I think she's the world's first lap dog. Maybe she is so boring because she's been alive for so long. I don't know, either way, she puts up with me and lets me have her leftover snacks, so I like her.

You will often see my mom, Snooky and I around the neighborhood on a walk, in the dog park, the Arboretum or Rock Creek Park. My mom and I like this neighborhood so much, we'd like to give back our time and service to the place we love. Stop and say hi!

Hi Swampoodle friends!! My name is  Moose and this is my Dad, Rob. My love languages are morning scratchies, pepperoni from Old City Market, and stealing socks. My dad stares at a screen all day, but he alway takes me to Swampoodle to see my friends. Sorry if you see me knocking over the water bowl or begging for treats.
